The Frankfort / Franklin County Tourist and Convention Commission has a new website at VisitFrankfort.com – designed and developed by Red Pixel Studios – to highlight the wealth of tourism activities in the area.
“Our new website has been redesigned to better serve our visitors and to provide comprehensive information about lodging, attractions, dining and shopping to potential visitors,” said Robin Antenucci, executive director of the Frankfort Tourist Commission. “This is a tool we can use to attract more visitors to our community.”
The new site is laden with high-quality photos of attractions, shops and restaurants. The site enables the commission to promote events, provide newsworthy information and details for travelers.
“With the redevelopment of our website, we were looking for an updated, modern design that would incorporate our new brand and identity,” said Antenucci.
The Frankfort Tourist Commission chose Red Pixel Studios in part because of their work with other tourism agencies around Kentucky.
“We have created a tremendous set of tools specifically to help tourism destinations deliver and manage the vast amounts of content they provide to prospective travelers through their websites,” said Eric Kyle, president of Red Pixel Studios.
“Red Pixel Studios did an excellent job in developing the site, working with our staff to train them how to update content and how to present information is a visitor friendly way,” said Antenucci.
“We are proud to have been selected to develop the all-new VisitFrankfort.com. We love working with tourism partners to help attract travelers to our great commonwealth,” said Kyle. “Frankfort delivers on all the qualities that make Kentucky such a wonderful destination — history, spirits, arts and natural beauty. We’re thrilled by the opportunity to help bring more people to experience Frankfort.”
