New apps section in our portfolio

The Red Pixel Studios site at redpixel.com has a new section. We added apps to our portfolio to show off the custom iOS work that we’ve completed for clients.
You may be familiar with infoApp, our framework for quickly building powerful informational apps for iOS, Android and mobile Web. We also have developed a wide range of apps for clients who require much more specific purposes.
Here’s a rundown of just a few of the apps that we’ve created. We invite you to check out our App Portfolio, too.

HRS Sketcher

Developed for the Heart Rhythm Society, HRS Sketcher is an educational tool that helps healthcare providers facilitate a dialogue with patients regarding both Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Atrial Fibrillation during diagnosis and follow-up. The app includes video animation and images which can be drawn over to help patients better understand symptoms and conditions.

Lexwalk

Developed for the Lexington Convention and Visitors Bureau, LexWalk is a terrific guide for a walking tour of beautiful and historic downtown Lexington, Ky. The app features video, audio and text descriptions of 19 points of interest, as well as photos.

Cuatro  – DNS Lookup

Cuatro – DNS Lookup is our own app, developed to verify the DNS of a domain name by simultaneously checking records from four different DNS services. We wanted a tool to use when launching new sites to verify that a DNS record modification is propagating to popular DNS services, and we added other features to help Web administrators and IT professionals when troubleshooting DNS issues.

From Season to Season – A Book of Saintly Wisdom

Developed for Saint Meinrad Archabbey, From Season to Season is based on a book of the same name written by Br. Silas Henderson, OSB, and published by the Archabbey’s Abbey Press Publications. The app features daily quotations from a wide variety of saints and popes along with biographical information. The app offers a searchable database to find quotes by date or source, and allows quotes to be shared on Facebook, Twitter or by email.

ASE Pocket Guidelines

ASE Pocket Guidelines was developed for the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) to consolidate charts from their most popular guidelines in one place. The ASE are the heart and circulation ultrasound specialists using ultrasound to provide an exceptional view of the cardiovascular system to enhance patient care.

CardioSmart Explorer

Developed for the American College of Cardiology, CardioSmart Explorer enables healthcare providers to discuss common heart problems and treatment options with patients. The app features high-resolution animations and graphics that enable users to explore the structure of an animated 3-D beating heart by swiping up or down through seven basic layers of normal cardiac anatomy. Users can also view quality animations and illustrations of common heart problems and normal functions. The CadioSmart Explorer is available exclusively to members of the American College of Cardiology.
