We designed the 2024 Annual Report for Perry County Public Library, creating a clear and engaging snapshot of the library’s impact on the community.
The four-page printed report was designed to present key data in an easy-to-digest format, helping board members, patrons, and community stakeholders quickly understand how the library serves its community. Professional photography of the library was incorporated throughout the report to visually connect the data to the spaces and people it represents.
The report highlights data on community reach and number of patrons served, along with clear visualizations of expenses and income. Additional sections focus on library programs and attendance, as well as the staff and services that support the library’s day-to-day operations. Graphs and concise summaries were used to make complex information approachable and readable.
Printed copies of the report were provided for the library’s board meeting and made available to patrons within the library. To extend the reach of the report beyond print, accompanying social media graphics were created to help the library share key data points and highlights across its social media channels.
This project demonstrates how thoughtful design can help libraries communicate their value, transparency, and community impact through clear data storytelling.
