We recently completed a new WordPress website for the James E. Bruce Convention Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, known locally as The Bruce.
The previous website made it difficult for users to quickly find essential information, particularly for event planners and visitors looking for details about spaces, amenities, and upcoming events. Navigation challenges and limited flexibility also made it harder for staff to keep content current and well organized.
The new website was designed to clearly showcase the convention center’s offerings while improving overall usability. A more intuitive site structure and cleaner page layouts help visitors easily explore event spaces, view upcoming events, and find practical information for planning a visit. The site is fully responsive, ensuring a consistent and user-friendly experience across mobile devices, tablets, and desktop computers.
Built on WordPress, the website gives staff the ability to manage content, post updates, and adjust information as needs change. Accessibility was an important consideration throughout the project, helping ensure the site can be used by a wide range of visitors.
As with all of our projects, the website was developed to be affordable, easy to manage, and built with long-term sustainability in mind.
