We recently completed a new WordPress website for Bracken County Public Library, designed to better highlight the services, resources, and programs available to the community.
The previous website made it difficult for patrons to easily discover library services and resources, while also limiting how effectively staff could promote events and share updates. As content grew over time, important information was not always easy to find.
The new website improves organization and clarity across the site. A cleaner structure and improved navigation help patrons quickly access information about library services, digital resources, hours, and policies, while also making it easier to explore upcoming events and programs. The site is fully responsive, providing a consistent and user-friendly experience across mobile devices, tablets, and desktop computers.
Built on WordPress, the website allows library staff to manage content, update resources, and promote services without technical barriers. Accessibility was an important consideration throughout the project, helping ensure that patrons of all abilities can navigate the site and access library information online.
As with all of our projects, the website was developed to be affordable, sustainable, and easy to maintain as library needs evolve.
