The Red Pixel Studios Sweet 16 Award was created to thank the Owensboro region for supporting our business for 16 years. The Sweet 16 Award bestowed a free website to an area non-profit organization.

The Daniel Pitino Shelter is the winner of the Red Pixel Studios Sweet 16 Award, narrowly surpassing Puzzle Pieces by receiving 51.2% of votes cast in the final round, with 730 voters participating. The Daniel Pitino Shelter receives an extraordinary website, built with a beautiful RPS Theme using our powerful RPS Framework for WordPress and customized to match their brand.

For 2014, The International Bar-B-Q Festival is back along the banks of the Ohio River, after the incredible transformation of Owensboro’s Riverfront with the renovation of Smothers Park and the completion of the new Owensboro Convention Center and Hampton Inn.
