The OCS app for Owensboro Catholic Schools has been updated with an all-new version plus advanced features for getting and sharing information. The new app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch shows off a completely redesigned interface with every screen.
Improved integration with Facebook enables users to like, share and comment on OCS updates as well as review others’ comments and likes.
A revamped Twitter section provides users with the latest on the school happenings, plus they can view images, mark favorites, retweet and share tweets from the official OCS feed.
The School Calendar and Athletics Calendar will compare events to a user’s personal calendar and detect conflicts, letting the user know with a simple color indicator if they are available to attend. In addition, users can now add Owensboro Catholic Schools events to their own calendar directly from the Calendar sections on the app.
The Directory lists faculty and staff and features a newly simplified layout for improved ease of use, and allows users to add a contact to their own personal contacts directly from the app.
A new Photo Albums sections provides access to scores of image galleries from the schools’ events.
